BIOSKETCH
I am a recently qualified pathologist at the Department of Virology based at the eThekwini Academic complex in Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central hospital. My research interests include HIV infection in infants, particularly related to optimizing the laboratory diagnosis of early transmission events. I’m also keen to explore how Public Health intersects with Virology and am currently pursuing further studies in Public Health.
